Here is a few things that are floating around in my head that I feel somehow need to be in my blog... but they aren't really made for single posts, if you know what I mean. Some good, some bad, some that are just rediculous. First, lets start of with the bad/rediculous..
I was minding my own busness this after noon checking my mail (mackeyblog@gmail.com) and I happened to get an email from a company, whom I will not mention because after you read this their business might go to crap. Anyway, I open the email and this is what I read:
"I am convinced that my children are out to destroy every piece of electronic equipment that I own. It all started 1 ½ years ago when my 3 year old dropped an 8 pound medicine ball on the laptop, shattering the screen. She shoved numerous DVDs into the 5 disc CD/DVD player, causing it lose all function except for the radio, which got poor reception. Monsters, Inc. was missing for months. One day it magically popped out of that DVD player! She pulled the 36 inch TV out of the entertainment center and was fortunate to avoid being squashed as it crashed to the floor. She spilled a Slurpee on my cell phone and destroyed the LCD display. My 2 year old yanked the tray out of our next DVD player. He colored a keyboard with a green Sharpie marker. He pulled the button and the tip off of the Stylus Pen and dropped it in a bottle of water. And we suspect that our 18 year old slammed the laptop (with a new $800 screen) shut and shattered it but he insists that it wasn’t him and no one will confess. It has been an expensive year and a half!"
No, that was not the whole email but that caught my eye and I couldn't read on. My thoughts are (in bulleted form, because you know how fun they are to read and how easy they are to create and they often make my thoughts make sense, HA HA!)
- Why in my Holy Heavenly Father's name would you allow your kids to do this?
- Where in the heck where you when all this was going on?
- Who lets their 3 year old play with an 8lb. medicine ball?
- What 3 year old can lift an 8 lb. medicine ball?
- How does a 3 year old pull a 36" TV off of the entertainment center without you noticing?
- What 3 year old can pull a HEAVY 36" TV? I can't barely pull mine to move it an inch.
- I totally understand how the whole slurpee incident happened but why weren't you watching her in the first place?
- Who gives their two year old a sharpie, a GREEN one much less?!?
- I wouldn't let my 18 year old touch my next laptop and I would make him pay for that one, but after hearing about the little-er ones and the damage they cause, I wouldn't put it pass them.
- and for goodness sake why wouldn't you move all the expensive electronics up out of their reach when you know of the damage they cause, or watch them more closely. UGHHH!
For another bulleted list, (because I love them so much cause I'm lazy and don't want to try to write everything out and make sense), that is on a much more happy note.. I feel loved again!!!!!!! Not that I didn't before or anywhere in between, keeping up with me? Anyway, I am in a goofy mood so you will have to excuse me if I sound like I am a drunkin pirate. I didn't know that so many people around the world visited me!!! Look at where they come from:
In order of frequency:
- United States
- Canada
- United Kingdom (UK)
- Australia
- Portugal
- Sweden
- Italy
- Malaysia
- Thailand
- New Sealand
- China
- Ireland
- Germany
- Ecuador
- Spain
- Denmark
- Mexico
- Netherlands
- Japan
- Peru
Isn't that awesome!!!! I think so! So the next time one of you friends from around the world stop by... please say hello, so I know who you are! I would love to meet you!
